Spanish Culture: 17 Jan 2015 The Maserof Inn Winery & Museum

The Maserof Inn Winery & Museum is set high in the Sierra Bernia mountains – a 17th century farmhouse crammed with antiques and relics from a bygone age. It is surrounded by farms and the vineyards from which the splendid Maserof red wine is produced, using the ancient traditions.
In November 2014, the U3A Javea group visited the complex where they had a guided tour and appeared to have enjoyed the day very much.

We are arranging a trip on Saturday 17th January, to include a tour, a sampling of their red wine, followed by a meal in the old dining room. It might be possible to arrange for a bus if there is enough interest, though this would increase the price, at present it is 33 Euros a head.
