I was asked to lead a mosaics group, and we had our first session on May 1st 2012. The group is small – a maximum of 12 people as we need lots of room to spread out our kit.
Making patterns or pictures out of small pieces of glass or ceramics is not difficult, but it is time consuming and can be an expensive hobby when setting up buying cutting equipment and glass. But it is quite magical to create something that is unique, and your very own.

We have a glass supplier on our doorstep which is wonderful because glass is heavy and would cost mega-bucks to ship from the UK.
A word of warning: You get hooked on mosaics!
