Las  Chicas Que Comen is a group of ladies that get together each month for lunch, to enjoy fine dining, and to meet up with old friends and meet new ones. When the group was formed, it was decided to employ a system of random seating, so that meeting new people was encouraged, and the formation of cliques avoided.

We frequent restaurants within the Moraira area, though we do venture to the edge of Javea and Benissa on occasions

The cost is from €23 to 25 euros. This includes a welcome drink, a 3 course meal plus wine and water. Bread and coffee and tip are extra unless stipulated.

We meet on the second week of the month most times on a Wednesday and sometimes we change that to a Thursday to try to accommodate all other activities that our U3A ladies get involved in.

You will see the write ups from some of our Chicas about a number of the restaurants we have visited and we are now starting to put those comments on to Trip Adviser too. Of course, a few restaurants have disappointed us, but in the main we get a warm reception, and are served some mouth watering dishes.

We meet between September and June with two months off in the hot and busy summer season.
